TITLE: FUNDAMENTALS OF PAINTING & DRAWING (tutored)
WHERE: Caloundra Arts Centre, 5 North St, Caloundra.

TIMES: 9.00am to 12 noon (please arrive 15 minutes early to set-up)
PREQUISITE: Visitors may attend twice without joining, however continued attendance requires you to become a member of C.A.C.A. (an initial cost of $50 which is made up of an annual fee of $45.00 plus a once only joining fee of $5.00 is applicable. The annual fee is then payable before 31st December.)
COST: The cost of one session is $25.
These classes are designed for the individual student, specifically for both the beginning fine art student as well as intermediate students. Tutoring covers the basics of colour theory and practice, composition, linear perspective, and many of the various techniques of painting. For more information contact the tutor (details above).
This class is limited to twelve students. Open to all levels.
ABOUT THE TUTOR: Krisstie has a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Queensland College of Art back when folios were still part of the entrance examination, and a Master of Teaching (Secondary) degree. She has taught painting for over 20 years in short courses at TAFE and when she had her own business in Brisbane. Krisstie has continued to pursue her professional development by attending workshops tutored by renowned national and international artists such as Maureen Hansen; Fu Hong; Lyn Diefenbach; Paul McDonald Smith; Clinton T. Hobart (USA); and Clayton J. Beck iii (USA).
