Symphony of Fibre Arts Exhibition

A Symphony of Fibre Arts is an intriguing Exhibition with a touch of madness, combining the diverse and creative talents of 2 Arts Centre groups, Printmaking and Textile & Fibre Arts.They are excited to present a contemporary exhibition involving over 20 artists.

Textile and Fibre Art will be incorporating banners, sculptures, installation and wearable art, which will be a visually stunning and inspiring “Symphony of Fibre” which pushes the boundaries of creativity and imagination.

The Hardpressed Printers  will take you through a delightful journey to the Australian outback with flocks of printed birds leading the way. The printers will be exploring the relationships with landscapes, desert creatures and flora through the medium of print.

The Exhibition will run from the 5th to the 13th January, 2019 from 10 am to 4 pm finishing at 3 pm on Sunday 13th January, 2019.

It will be held at Caloundra Arts Centre Inc., 5 North Street, Caloundra, Sunshine Coast Qld.

Official opening by Janet de Boer O.A.M. at 1 pm Saturday 5th January, 2019

Someone was caught trying to work out how to get a foamy look and a dental wipe seems to have stimulated this masterpiece in experimental art! The attached photos show the outcome.
